Logan Lake Realty

Real Estate

Once upon a time, Logan Lake’s real estate needs were served by satellite offices of large franchises located in other cities that had no vested interest in the community of Logan Lake. A handful of local real estate agents saw the need for a real estate company that was based in the community and dedicated solely to the needs of Logan Lake and its people. Thanks to their vision, Logan Lake Realty was born.

The localizing of the business made it possible for the company’s owners and agents to adapt their services to better fit the needs of Logan Lake buyers and sellers and to make decisions that were more reflective of the community.

Since inception it has been the goal of owners Rob Trouton and Robin Smith to make Logan Lake Realty a home-grown business. The company hires only local residents and encourages people to support Logan Lake businesses. The company also gives back to its community as a means of furthering the interests of the District of Logan Lake as a whole.

Meet Rob Trouton & Robin Smith

It was of utmost importance to Logan Lake Realty owner Rob Trouton and his business partner Robin Smith that his real estate agency be locally grown and focused. Rob and his family have lived in Logan Lake for over 30 years and are proud to call this beautiful, friendly city home. In fact, all of the agents and support staff are Logan Lake residents. This is one of the reasons that his business is so attuned to the needs of buyers and sellers in the town.

Living, playing and shopping local has long been one of Rob's standards to live by. He believes that this is the only way to sustain a community over the long term. This includes giving back to the community by shopping local and by volunteering and donating to local organizations and causes. Some of those include Logan Lake WHY, Logan Lake Pond Hockey, Communities in Bloom, Logan Lake Search and Rescue, the Seniors Society, the Arts Council, the Logan Lake Lions and numerous others.

Rob also enjoys spending his free time (though, he admits, it's sometimes hard to come by) in his community, particularly outdoors. He likes to hike, motorbike, geocache and golf. He is also a hockey player and passes on the love of the game by volunteering with Minor Hockey.
